University Seminars at Horse World Expo

Horse World Expo is an industry trade show and exhibition held annually in January at the Maryland State Fairgrounds in Timonium, MD. The University of Maryland's Equine Studies Program plays an integral role in the Horse World Expo by coordinating the University Seminar Series. Invited speakers give talks that serve to educate horse owners and enthusiasts in areas such as nutrition, reproduction, forage systems, equine business management, and health and disease. Attendees also have the opportunity to observe seminars, clinics, and lectures given by equine professionals and shop in the numerous trade booths.

Mid-Atlantic Nutrition Conference

The Mid-Atlantic Nutrition Conference is an annual conference held in March at the Crowne Plaza Baltimore North hotel in Timonium, MD. The conference features talks on the latest nutrition research for poulty, dairy, and equine.
